South Korean K-pop group TWICE has earned the highest grossing and bestselling tour by a female act in Japan’s history after the ‘Ready To Be’ tour raked in $61.7 million in revenue from 721,000 tickets sold in 14 shows.
TWICE earned the best-selling concert by a female Korean act in history, with 68,933 tickets sold each night at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama on July 27-28, 2024.
According to data released by TOURING DATA on X, the girl group earned their highest grossing Asian concert of all-time on July 27, 2024, with $5.823 million at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama as part of the “Ready to Be Tour”.
The data further indicated that extending their record, they earned their most attended concert of all-time on July 27, 2024, with 68,933 tickets sold at their Nissan Stadium concert as part of the Tour”.
TWICE historically grossed 170 million dollars in total revenue from over 1.5 million tickets sold on the tour. The records testify to the group’s rapidly-growing stardom and global reach.
TWICE’s “Ready to Be” tour was a massive success, kicking off on April 15, 2023, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul and wrapping up on July 28, 2024, at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama. The 5th world tour, supporting their 12th extended play “Ready to Be,” consisted of 51 shows across Asia, North America, South America, Oceania, and Europe.
