Award-winning American rapper is set to play a role in the forthcoming sequel to Adam Sandler’s ‘Happy Gilmore’.
Sandler spoke about the much-anticipated sequel to his 1996 classic cult golf film when he appeared as a guest on the Dan Patric Show on Sunday the 15th of December. Sandler disclosed during the show that Eminem will make a guest appearance in the upcoming film.
“Eminem was cool,” Sandler says at the 2:33 timestamp of the interview. “He came by and he was great.”
When asked for more details about the rapper’s role, Sandler added “I can’t tell you all that. But I’ve known Eminem for a long time and he’s a great guy. And he came and was funny as hell. I think we just hung out a day with Eminem. He just shot and shot and it was insane. [He] said a million things that we can use and a million things that we’re glad we have them on tape.”
Another high-profile figure scheduled to make a cameo appearance in the film is retired golfer Jack Nicklaus. ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ is scheduled to arrive on Netflix net July according to Sandler. The forthcoming film will not be the first time Sandler and Eminem worked together as the ‘Not Afraid’ rapper made a cameo in the film Funny People starring Sandler, Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and Leslie Man in 2009.
