In a statement marking the label’s milestone, Don Jazzy expresses gratitude to everyone who has contributed to their success over the past 12 years. Established in 2012, Mavin Records has emerged as one of Africa’s most influential entertainment enterprises, offering a wide range of services including management, publishing, synchronization, production, and strategic collaborations.

In 2019, Mavin Records entered into an equity investment partnership with Kupanda Holdings, and recently, Universal Music Group announced a significant investment in the label, pending regulatory approval expected by the end of Q3 2024. Don Jazzy sees this partnership as a testament to the talent and brand they’ve built, propelling Mavin to its current stature.
