Ice Prince Becomes First African Rapper To Hold A Concert In South Korea

Being in the Nigerian music industry for over a decade, Ice Prince could be said to be one of Africa’s most successful rappers and hip-hop acts. He blends the Nigerian pigdin with English to compose his rap lyrics. He has collaborated with successful colleagues including Ghanaian lyricist Sarkodie on ‘’Shots On Shots’. After being in the hip-hop fraternity for ages, he is still setting unprecedented records.

The hip-hop act has stayed relevant and can brag about a lot of achievements in the music industry in his long-standing career. He has four full-length studio albums to his credit and a couple of hit singles.

After the release of his fourth studio album ‘Fire And Ice’ on 17th May 2024, the ‘Superstar’ composer stormed South Korea, and sold out venues.

Ice kick-started his short debut South Korean tour on the 7th of June 2024 with a welcome party after he touched down in the country and ended it on the 10th. He made stops at  4 big cities including Seoul, Songtan, Bosan and Gwanju, thrilling and entertaining patrons and fans with captivating and spectacular performances.

In a pre-tour statement on his official Facebook page, he expressed excitement over his music- takeover in the Asian country.

He wrote on his page, urging fans and music lovers to stream his new album.
