Ghanaian trapper and highlife singer Black Sherif has announced the coming of his Sophomore full-length studio album ‘Iron Boy’ due this year 2024.
Blacko announced the much-anticipated album during the just-ended event in Ghana dubbed ‘Area Codes jam’ held by Ghanaian youth radio station, YFM at Legon City Mall, Accra.
The trapper thrilled and entertained patrons with show-stopping and captivating performances. He served the patrons with some of his finest hit songs including Yaya, Kilos Milos, Wotowoto Seasoning, Sad Boys Don’t Fold, Country Side, and Konongo Zongo.
Wrapping up his 23- minutes performance, he said as he hinted that fans give him a few months for him to surprise them.
Before the release of the album due this year, the Empire signed act had earlier dropped hit singles such as his birth song ‘January 9’, Zero, Shut Up and the currently- trending and chart-topping Kilos Milos.
After coming to the limelight with his hit singles ‘1st Sermon ‘ and ‘2nd Sermon ‘, Blacko released his debut album ‘The Villain I Never I Was’ on 6th October 2022. Earlier this year, the project surpassed 1 billion streams on Digital Streaming Platforms. The feat was achieved across 4 platforms including Spotify (125), Boomplay (341), YouTube (102) and Audiomack (441).
