Ghanaian gospel legend and icon Esther Smith, one of Ghana’s spirit-filled gospel musicians has released a new hit single titled ‘Onyame Banbo’, to wit ‘God’s protection’.
The newly released record was announced after she announced her powerful gospel concert. After 10 years of relocating Abroad, the prolific singer is returning to Ghana in a grand and epic style. She has in the past decade transformed and saved souls with her evergreen and spiritual songs.
The single featuring musician and record producer Morris Babyface was released on the 5th of July 2024 as announced. It is Esther’s first project thrilling and entertaining his fans and music lovers after years of moving out of the country.
‘Onyame Banbo’ which translates from Asante Twi to English as ‘God’s protection ‘ is a testament to the ‘Gye no di’ composer’s lyrical prowess, vocal dexterity, boundless talent and creativity. It is a masterpiece showcasing the two singers’ spectacular and magnificent artistry and immense global appeal and influence.
In a post-release statement, she wrote on her Facebook page and wished herself a happy birthday.
