Travis Scott Extends ‘Circus Maximus’ World Tour Australian Leg

Due to overwhelming demand, American rapper Travis Scott has extended the Australian leg of his ongoing ‘Circus Maximus’ world tour. A second date has been added to his Sydney’s Allianz Stadium show.

Marked by record-breaking album sales and show performances, the tour expansion is part of a purple patch for the Houston-born rapper.

In late September, Travis Scott will kickstart the Australian and New Zealand leg of the tour in Chile and make stops in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico. 

At MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, on 9th October, the rapper will perform for one night between the Latin American and Australian legs. 

The “Circus Maximus” tour is currently the Highest-grossing rap tour of 2024 after the North American leg grossed $95.7 million across 44 dates with a total attendance of 686,000. In 2023, Scott made history as the first rapper to headline Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The rapper has already grossed $23.6 million with nearly 200,000 attendees across the first seven dates of the ongoing European and UK leg. The tour is in honour of his ‘UTOPIA’ studio album released on the 28th of July 2024. The album features collaborations from Drake, Beyonce and The Weekend. The rapper proving his lyrical prowess showcases his versatility and ability to create chart-topping songs.
