The exhibition came up successfully and beautifully in New York on the 31st of July 2024. The exhibition featured nicely painted portraits of female rappers such as Glorilla, Flo Milli, Sexxy Redd, Latto, etc created by artist Manon Biernacki.

The rappers turned up at the event to have a visual feel of their portraits. Upon seeing her portrait, Latto gushed over it, wishing to have taken it home with her.

Earlier in July, Spotify through a statement on X announced the ‘Gold Standard’ Art Exhibition in honour of women pushing hip hop in this era.

“We honour the women driving the genre forward with The Gold Standard Exhibition on July 31st in NYC! Drop by and check out portraits created by artist Manon Biernacki

Now Presenting The Gold Standard, an exhibit in NYC celebrating the current golden era of women in hip-hop. Pull up on July 31st in NYC”

“The way women have set the bar for hip-hop has been nothing short of fine art.
