The organizers of Ghana’s premier annual music and arts festival, Afrofuture, have announced an exciting new location for their 2024 event.
This year, the festival will be taking over the Polo Beach Club (The Shoreline) in Accra, Ghana for its annual two-day celebration dubbed “Culture Beach Jam.”
The event is scheduled for December 28-29, 2024, marking a departure from Afrofuture’s traditional city-centre setting.
In addition to the new beachside location, the 2024 “Culture Beach Jam” will place a greater emphasis on diverse programming. Organizers promise an intimate packed lineup of live music, captivating art installations, cutting-edge fashion displays, and immersive cultural experiences.
Nonetheless, the annual festival will return in 2025 at a revitalised El-Wak Statdim with expanded events across Africa.
While the specific performer lineup for Culture Beach Jam has yet to be announced, Afrofuture has a reputation for securing top musical talent from across the continent and diaspora.
Fans can expect more details on the headliners and full artist roster in the coming months as the festival date approaches.
