Nigerian Afrobeats singer Oxlade has unveiled the official tracklist for his debut full-length studio album “Oxlade From Africa.”
Earlier in August, the singer announced his debut album through a trailer shared on his official social media platforms. The nicely shot and edited trailer was narrated in a local dialect, testifying to his love for his identity and heritage.
Scheduled to be released on the 20th of September 2024, it will catapult him to the list of Nigerian musicians with full projects in their careers. ‘Ku Lo Sa’, ‘Intoxicated’, ‘Ovami’ etc had earlier been released as the lead singles of the forthcoming project.
‘Oxlade From Africa’ is a powerhouse carved out of creativity, artistry and lyrical prowess as it features collaborations with top-notch musicians in different genres. Ghanaian rap heavyweight Sarkodie, Caribbean Reggae and dancehall superstar Popcaan, Afrobeats icon Wande Coal, Flavour, Congolese singer Fally Ipupa etc are all featured on the album.
Since the unveiling of the tracklist, fans and music lovers have been rushing to pre-order it, highly anticipating the release. It is already the second-highest-streamed Nigerian album for 2024 as its lead singles have surpassed 400 million streams on digital platforms.
