Celebrated Ghanaian DJ, DJ Vyrusky has recounted a life-changing health scare he faced in 2017.
In a conversation on 3 Music’s “Daily Convo,” speaking with host Jay Foley, DJ Vyrusky shared that he woke up one morning to find half of his face paralyzed, unable to speak or close his left eye. Recounting the frightening ordeal, he explained, “So, I woke up one day and half of my face went. I couldn’t talk; I couldn’t close my left eye, so if you realize sometimes, I have something on my lips, it’s because of what happened to me.”
” I did a couple of tests, and the doctor was like, Um, your immune system is so strong for this, but I mean it’s happened. It wasn’t normal, but I had a spiritual father then, like a pastor. He called me, and he was like, Some people tried taking me to whatever juju to give me a stroke,” he added.
He further revealed that, the situation inspired the release of his hit single “Adwenfi” featuring Kuami Eugene and Shatta Wale, which went on to win multiple awards. He also advised people to take care of themselves, protect themselves, and pray.
DJ Vyrsuky is a leading DJ in Ghana, headlining several shows and concerts. He is also a record producer and artist with several hit records under his belt including his most recent single “Follow Who Know Road” featuring Kuami Eugene, Maya Blu, DSL, st. Lennon and Kasar.
