Legendary British rock band Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” has officially earned the highest-grossing and best-selling tour in live events history, with $1.059 billion from 9.610 million tickets sold in its first 164 shows.
“Music of the Spheres” is officially the highest-grossing and best-selling tour in Europe history, with $605 million from 5.238 million tickets sold in 87 shows.
According to data released by TOURING DATA on X, Coldplay earned their best-selling concert of all time on September 2, 2024, with 82,300 tickets sold at Croke Park in Dublin as part of the “Music of the Spheres Tour”.

The data further indicated that the band earned their highest-grossing European concert of all time on September 2, 2024, with $12.380 million at Croke Park as part of the “Music of the Spheres Tour”.
The World Tour ($1.059 billion) has now broken the Guinness World Record for highest-grossing tour of all time, which was first set by Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ($1.039 billion).
The tour was in honor of the band’s 9th studio album “Music Of The Spheres’ released on the 15th of October 2021 which featured collaborations from top-notch musicians such as BTS and Selena Gomez.
