After achieving huge chart success with her Sophomore album ‘Fountain Baby’, Ghanaian-American singer and songwriter Amaarae is readying for an Extended Play (EP) version release.

The singer announced the forthcoming release through a trailer shared on her social media  platform. In the nicely shot and edited visual, she was sitting next to a vixen and freestyling her new single ‘Sweeet’.

Scheduled to be out on Digital and Streaming Platforms (DSP) on Friday 28th June 2024, the project houses 6 songs. 

Announcing the project, she captioned the trailer;

Meanwhile, ‘Fountain Baby’ is Amaarae ‘s second studio album released in 2023 via Interscope Records. Songs on it include Big Steppa, Wasted Eyes, Counterfeit, Angels In Tibet, Co-Star, Water From Whine, Disguise, etc. In June 2023, ‘Fountain Baby’ made it to the global list of Rolling Stone’s Best Albums. As of May 2024, it had surpassed 150 streams on Spotify.
