Ashmond Kwesy to Debut Solo Exhibition ‘The Son of Victoria’ from Dec. 27 – Jan. 3

Ghanaian international and multifaceted creative, Ashmond Oppong, fondly known in circles as Ashmond Kwesy will host his first solo exhibition, “The Son of Victoria” in Ghana.

This exhibition, a profound personal journey for Ashmond Kwesy is slated between December 27th to January 3rd at The Mix Hub in Osu, Ghana.

Designed as an immersive experience, “The Son of Victoria” bridges the worlds of photography, fashion and storytelling. Each piece reflects the nuanced influences of his Ghanaian heritage and his mother’s impact on his life.

With Ashmond Kwesy, the exhibition embodies “a story told through the lens of both heritage and modernity,” bringing together elements of his past and present in a seamless blend of visual poetry.

For Kwesy, this exhibition is not merely a display but a homecoming. It promises to be a space where he shares his evolution as an artist with the people and the culture that shaped him. Every piece is designed to resonate with those who understand the delicate balance between honouring one’s roots and forging a unique path.

With this exhibition, Kwesy weaves together personal and cultural narratives, creating a visual and emotional experience that speaks to the universal themes of love, loss, and resilience.

The week-long exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience Ashmond Kwesy’s vision up close. It will provide Ghanaians and art lovers alike with a powerful homage to family, history, and the stories that define us.
