Asomacy Inks Record Deal with Sony Music Africa, Shares Debut Single 

Global record label, Sony Music Africa has signed a huge deal with Ghanaian fast-rising singer and songwriter, Asomacy through The Pep Entertainment (TPE). The label announced the deal through its official social media platforms.

The career of the singer who began writing songs in childhood and started pursuing music professionally at the age of 15 was inspired by his older siblings’ influence.

The young musician who has captured the attention of music fans with his unique style blends his life experiences and personal reflections for his musical arrangements and compositions. 

Asomacy’s new deal with Sony Music Africa is a testament to his dedication, hard work and artistry. He joins mainstream artists such as ‘Songbird’ Gyakie,  Nigerian Afrobeats singer Mayorkun and 
F3lineofficial.

Speaking on the new deal, Asomacy stressed that it will amplify his vision, learn and release new projects. According to him, it represents elevation and growth in his career.

Reflecting on the milestone, the musician shared, “This partnership with Sony Music West Africa is a dream come true. It not only validates my efforts but also amplifies my vision to learn, explore, and release new music on a bigger scale. I believe this step will elevate everything we do to make that dream happen.”

On what the future holds for him following his deal, he said” The future depends on the effort I put in today,” he said. “I will keep doing what I’ve always loved, and I am excited about what lies ahead.”

Music executive and CEO of TPE, the label through which the singer was signed also shared his view on the signing. He said, ” I have been working with him for some time now, and after traveling across the country with him as an opening act for rapper Kofi Mole, his potential as a consummate act became even more apparent to me.”

Meanwhile, the singer has released his debut single ‘WHY’ under Sony Music Africa, topping charts and dominating playlists. The song testifies to the act’s lyrical prowess and versatility. It resonates with listeners due to its rich content and storyline.
