Mavin Records signee and Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr keeps breaking boundaries on Spotify and she is not stopping anytime soon. The Grammy-nominated musician’s ‘The Year I Turned 21’ album is the most streamed Nigerian project of 2024 on the streaming platform.
The album is currently Ayra’s highest-streamed album on the DSP with 575 million streams, surpassing her ’19 & Dangerous’ deluxe project (571 streams).
Released in May 2024, the ‘TYIT21′ is the singer’s sophomore full-length studio album which follows her ’19 & Dangerous’ project. It features Asake, Anitta, Giveon, Coco Jones, Seyi Vibez, etc.
The project boasts 15 well-crafted songs including Rhythm and Blues, Commas, Jazzy’s Song, Last Heartbreak Song’, etc. She blends Afrobeats, Pop and R&B for the creative project.
