Before showing the birth of baby Benito, who is subsequently shown in a car seat, mouthing the song’s words in time with a lively salsa beat, the video begins with nostalgic shots of Bad Bunny’s forefathers. About the renowned Puerto Rican reggae group Cultura Profética, the baby raps, “Calle Sol, Calle Luna, estoy en la noche oscura / Yo no canto reggae, pero soy cultura.”
As the narrative goes on, the modern-day Bad Bunny emerges, joyously waving the Puerto Rican flag as he runs over an open field. He keeps rapping over the beat as the video closes at a local community event, alluding to Puerto Rican boxing greats Miguel Cotto and Tito Trinidad: “A mí me quieren como a Tito y soy serio como Cotto/ Lugia, Ho-Oh, cabrón, hoy soy legendario.”
