Beats by Dre Signs Lionel Messi as Brand Ambassador

Global football icon Lionel Messi has joined forces with Beats by Dre, becoming the latest addition to the brand’s roster of elite athletes.

The partnership, announced yesterday, will see the World Cup winner and eight-time Ballon d’Or recipient featured in Beats by Dre’s upcoming marketing campaigns. Messi is set to promote the company’s product line, which includes earphones, headphones, and speakers.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Beats by Dre, as Messi becomes the first Major League Soccer (MLS) player to sign with the brand since it became the league’s official consumer audio partner earlier this year.

“Messi’s global appeal and his recent move to Inter Miami make him the perfect ambassador for our brand,” said a Beats by Dre spokesperson. “His influence extends far beyond the soccer field, and we’re excited to see how this partnership will resonate with fans worldwide.”

The Argentine forward has already been spotted wearing custom Inter Miami-inspired Studio Pro headphones, featuring the MLS club’s signature baby blue and pink colours along with the team’s crest. This subtle nod to his new team has already sparked interest among fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.

Beats’ commitment to MLS doesn’t stop with Messi. In February, the company announced multi-year agreements with eight MLS clubs: Atlanta United, Columbus Crew, LAFC, Nashville SC, NYCFC, St. Louis CITY SC, Toronto FC, and Inter Miami. This strategic move positions Beats at the forefront of the growing North American soccer market.

Messi joins an impressive lineup of Beats by Dre ambassadors, including NBA icon LeBron James, soccer phenom Erling Haaland, and English football star Alessia Russo. This diverse group of athletes reflects Beats’ strategy to connect with sports fans across various disciplines and demographics.
