In the past, cookbook author Blanco has gone on the record to make sure that when they dine together, Gomez, 32 has all her favorite foods. Benny popped the question to her while on a romantic Taco Bell picnic from an Instagram video shared by the singer on Dec 11.
In footage Blanco, 36, shared to his Instagram Story and TikTok over the weekend, the proposal actually went down on a Hollywood soundstage made up to look like a park according to an E! News report. Gomez is smiling broadly as she clinks champagne glasses with Blanco on artificial grass, with movie lights and production equipment visible in the background in the clips shared online.
With a marquise-cut diamond ring worth an estimated $225,000, the record producer popped the big question to his fiancé. In an Instagram carousel featuring her engagement ring, Gomez broke the good news to her fans and the captioned it, “forever begins now.” Blanco responded in the comments, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
