Multiple times Grammy-award-winning musician Beyonce is expected to appear at Vice President Kamala Harris’ forthcoming campaign rally in Houston.
According to sources familiar with the plans of the rally scheduled to come off on Friday the 26th of October, the pop star is the latest American celebrity expected to join Kamala on a campaign trail.
Beyoncé is also expected to perform, according to one of the sources, who has direct knowledge of the preparations. The Washington Post first reported the news of Beyonce’s appearance.
Bruce Springsteen and ‘Not Afraid’ rapper Eminem had earlier joined the Vice President at her rallies. On Tuesday the 22nd of October, Eminem introduced former President Barack Obama at Harris’ rally in Detroit.
Since jumping into the US Presidential race against Donald Trump, the Vice President has racked up a slew of celebrity endorsements from Charlie XCX and Taylor Swift to Billie Eilish.
Beyoncé is not often involved in politics but famously sang the national anthem at former President Barack Obama’s first inauguration in 2008 and performed at a rally in Ohio in the final days of then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016.
