Ghanaian Hiplife artiste Black Sherif has hit a historic milestone on digital and streaming platform Boomplay.
The ‘Kwaku The Traveler’ hitmaker has surpassed 500 million streams on Boomplay. The DSP announced the singer’s newly attained feat through a statement shared on its official social media platforms.
The Empire signed artiste is the first-ever Ghanaian to surpass such unprecedented streams on the platform. Sarkodie follows with 225 million streams and third on the list is self-acclaimed African Dancehall King Shatta Wale with 155 million.
Flip The Music signee and ‘Forever’ hitmaker Gyakie is the only female on the list with 127 million.
Meanwhile, on Audiomack, Black Sherif is again the most streamed Ghanaian artist with over 600 million streams. He is pulling the magic with one full album ‘The Villain I Never Was’ and a couple of singles on the streaming platforms.
