The ‘Wheels Of Steel’ Playlist For Nigerian DJs Is Staged In The ‘Global DJ Month’
For their contributions to the promotion, marketing, advertising and globalization of songs and artists, Digital and Streaming Platform Boomplay Music has taken it upon itself to recognize and eulogize disc jockeys (DJs) across the globe, especially in Africa.
As part of its activities for July as ” Global DJ Month’, Boomplay is celebrating DJs in Africa, especially in Nigeria. The Digital Platform has created a playlist dubbed ‘Wheels Of Steel’ to pay homage to some top and best-performing DJs who double as artists.
The nice and top-notch created ‘Wheels Of Steel‘ houses 45 solid and ear-soothing songs by some of the finest and most talented DJs across Nigeria. The songs feature Award-winning and mainstream artists in the country. Some of the songs include DJ Neptune’s newly released ‘Normal Day‘ which features Ice Prince, Magnito, Kaligraph Jones, N6 and others, DJ YK Beats’ ‘Am A Baboo’, DJ Michelle and Toby Shang’s ‘Old Talker’, ‘Take Me Away’ by DJ Obi and Ayanfe & Bien, ‘Raba’ by DJ Shabsy featuring Kizz Daniel, Sugar Boy and Sugarboy, ‘Early Momo’ by DJ Hazan and Patoranking, ‘Ohemaa’ in which the evergreen DJ Spinall features Mr Eazi, ‘Erima’ by DJ Big N, Dr Sid and Wizkid, DJ Tunez’s ‘Pami’ featuring Wizkid and Adekunle Gold, DJ Jimmy Jatt’s ‘Worry Me’ with 2face and BNXN Buju, ‘Nobody’ by DJ Neptune featuring Mr Eazi and Joeboy, etc.
DJ Tunez’s ‘ Apala Disco’ Remix with Wizkid, Dope Caesar, Fave and Ajebo Hustlers’ ‘Pop Sermon ‘, ‘Happiness’ by Sarz, Gunna and Asake, Uncle Waffles’ ‘Wadibusa’, ‘Bella’ by DJ Lambo, etc also got featured in the playlist. In a statement, the Streaming Platform disclosed that since its introduction in 2018, the ‘ Global DJ Month’ has gained global recognition and achieved massive success.
