American rapper Cardi B has responded to billionaire Elon Musk for calling her a puppet for attending a Kamala Harris rally.
Early November this year, Cardi endorsed Kamala Harris for President of the US after attending her rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The rapper launched a series of attacks on Donald Trump, calling him a bigot and misogynist.
Reacting to a video of Cardi B speaking at the Vice President’s rally in Milwaukee, Musk called her a “puppet” who cannot read without being fed with words.
“Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy” , the billionaire and staunch supporter of Trump wrote on X.
Hitting back at Musk, the rapper also wrote”I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm”
Cardi B is not the only female musician to endorse Kamala in the forthcoming US elections as multiple times Grammy-award-winning superstar Beyonce, GloRilla, Alicia Keys and Kelly Rowland have all endorsed the Presidential candidate.
