Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Ckay is expanding his creative empire as not only a musical artist but also a music executive and conglomerate.
After raking in millions from his musical catalogue, Ckay has launched a music management and publishing company.
The singer announced the new initiative through a statement on the company’s official X platform.
Dubbed ‘Boyfriend Music LTD’, the official launch occurred in Lagos, Nigeria in August 2024.
According to the ‘Love Nwantiti’ hitmaker in the statement, the new company is dedicated to helping artists, songwriters and producers collect their rightful royalties.
“Boyfriend Music Ltd’ is also in the business of providing A&R services for artists and creatives in the industry.
“Boyfriend Music Ltd. is excited to announce its official launch in Lagos, Nigeria. Boyfriend Music Ltd is a music management & publishing company dedicated to helping artists, songwriters and producers collect their rightful royalties and providing A&R services.” The company wrote to its X platform.
