Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Davido is gearing up to release a new single.
Dubbed ‘Awuke’, the 30 BG boss announced the release date of the song through his official social media platforms on Wednesday the 23rd of October 2024. The announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of the song’s cover art.
Scheduled to arrive on the 31st of October, ‘Awuke’ features American singer and songwriter YG Marley.
Earlier at his just-ended show at Paris’ Accor Arena, he performed the unreleased track, setting the pace for the official release.
The forthcoming and much-anticipated release is his first ever after ‘Stay Strong’, an inspirational and soulful record released years ago.
