Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Davido is gearing up to build a legacy in
the tech community after raking in millions and becoming a household name in the music industry.
Following the crash of his cryptocurrency and Davido Coin, the 30 BG boss has partnered with his friend, Sir Banko to launch a social media app, ‘Chatter’.
The media app was officially launched on Saturday the 13th of July 2024 after 10 months of working on it. The App connects users across the globe through audio-visual elements.

In less than 48 hours of the official launch, ‘Chatter’ peaked at number #65 on the App Store. In a historic feat, it also trended in the US, UK, Canada, Nigeria, Ecuador, etc.
In a post-launch statement, Founder of the app, Nelson Epega narrating how he was ridiculed and mocked in the App building process urged his followers not to give up on their dreams.
“Never give up on your dreams.
Never the past 10 months of building this product – I’ve been insulted, ridiculed, disrespected, told the app doesn’t exist, told the app would be boycotted, called a scammer and so much shit.
We ignored it ALL! Kept our heads down and focused.
