The Black Entertainment (BET) event, known as one of the most decorated and highly profiled awards ceremonies and schemes, celebrates black music, culture and traditions. It recognizes creatives and entertainers with black roots, doing magnificently and splendidly well in the creative arts industry. This year’s edition will premiere on the 30th of June, awarding and recognizing finest male vocalist and choreographer Usher with Lifetime Achievement Award. Davido, one of Africa’s great music exports will be gracing the BET Experience stage.

The Sony Music act has confirmed in an X formerly known as a Twitter post that he will be performing at the ongoing BET Experience. Social media users have reacted, praising him for being a hard worker, committed entertainer and creative.
After a four-year hiatus, the BET Experience returned to the prestigious and decorated Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with a series of fun and worth-remembering experiences and events including concerts, competitions, comedies, parties, etc. The 4-day ceremony kick-started on the 26th with a comedy special from the Evergreen Chris Spencer. Today 27th, Ghanaian-American comedian Michael Blackson will take centre stage and thrill patrons with his boundless comedic style and infectious energy. Wrapping up the comedy series, the iconic and most talented Tiffany Haddish will take patrons through a laughter journey with her authenticity.
Tiffany Haddish’s comedy will not be the only experience for the night as Davido will be giving captivating and show-stopping performances of his hit songs including Unavailable, Feel, etc. OBO will be performing alongside Gunna, Cardi B, Sexxy Red, Queen Latifah and more. They will be paying homage to black music, culture and excellence from the 28th to the 30th of June, where the ‘’BET Awards’ 2024 will be premiered.
