Drake is back with a bang, and this time he’s unloading a treasure trove of content straight from his hard drive to a brand-new Instagram account. On Tuesday, the rap icon launched @plottttwistttttt, a fresh account brimming with three new tracks:
“Housekeeping Knows,” featuring Latto; the dance-infused “Blue Green Red”; and the gritty “It’s Up,” featuring 21 Savage and Young Thug. As if that wasn’t enough, fans were also treated to a surprise collaboration with Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema on “Mention Me.”
The reunion with Young Thug and 21 Savage is sure to set the streets on fire. On “It’s Up,” Drake calls for Young Thug’s freedom and makes it clear he’s not afraid of any opps, a bold statement in the wake of his ongoing rivalry with Kendrick Lamar. “Housekeeping Knows” with Latto is tailor-made for the club scene, while “Blue Green Red” promises to be a dancefloor staple. But the surprises don’t stop there.
Drake’s new IG account, captioned “100 GIGS FOR YOUR HEADTOP,” is a goldmine of random photos and videos dating back to June. The eclectic mix includes studio sessions—such as a moment where Drake pondered adding Grammy winner Future to his hookah-smoking “Hotline Bling” session—along with footage from various nights at the strip club and glimpses of fashion mockups.
Fans will also spot cameos from Drake’s rumoured love interest Brooklyn Nikole (who happens to be Latto’s best friend), alongside appearances by Amber Rose, Jean Grae, Jim Jones, Paige Uncaged, and Saweetie. Talk about a plot twist!
