The Afrobeats superstar hinted at the forthcoming album through a statement on his official X platform. The announcement of the project was accompanied by its official cover art.

Scheduled to be released on the 29th of August 2024, the project boasts 14 well-crafted and ear-soothing songs. “Obaa Sima,” “Everyday,” and “Yawa” already have been released as lead singles, creating a buzz around the project.

The singer is yet to unveil the official tracklist and features of ‘Adedamola’. Fans and music lovers are eagerly awaiting further updates on the release.

The forthcoming project follows his third studio album ‘Playboy’ released in 2022. His debut album ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps ‘ and sophomore project ‘Apollo’ were released in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

Meanwhile, Fireboy’s collaboration with Chocolate City signee and hip-hop luminary Blaq Bonez didn’t make it to the upcoming album. Some fans have expressed frustrations and displeasure as to why the much-anticipated didn’t appear on the project.

Earlier in August, the ‘Play Boy’ hitmaker hit a historic milestone on streaming platform Boomplay as he surpassed 600 million streams on the platform. ‘Adedamola’ will be upgrading and boosting his already impressive music catalogue.
