American rapper Gunna and the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) have teamed up to launch their charitable “Gunna x BMAC 30349 Guaranteed Income Program”
The newly launched charitable program aims to support some Georgia residents financially for an entire year as the rapper’s usual efforts in giving back to his community.
30 Fulton County families will be receiving $1,000 monthly stipends for one year. Gunna and BMAC will be rolling out the program on the 1st of October and ending it on the same day in 2025.
“When I launched Gunna’s Great Giveaway, my goal was to uplift my hometown by providing resources that could make a tangible difference in at least one household,” Gunna said of his charitable efforts. “Partnering with BMAC to introduce the Guaranteed Income program in South Fulton is a significant step toward enhancing these communities and transforming the economic landscape of the city.”
The good news about the initiative is that some lucky winners will also get mentorship in music, film, fashion, and tech, all of which are some of the biggest industries in the world. According to the rapper, the program aims to ” uplift my hometown, providing resources that could make a tangible difference”.
This is not the first time Gunna is giving back to his Atlanta hometown because, in 2017, he collaborated with the Goodr organization to create a free in-school clothing and grocery store at his former middle school in College Park.
