Hip-hop luminary Jay Z, touted as the “Greatest Rapper of All Time” is inking his name among the few elites in the history of the Recording Industry of the Association of America (RIAA).
In a new development, the Roc Nation boss has upgraded his RIAA collection as he has received six new platinum certifications from the Association.
Jay Z received the certifications for his ‘Run This Town’, ‘Holy Grail’, ’99 Problems’, ‘No In The Wild’, ‘Hard Knock Life’, and ‘I Just Wanna Love U’ records. The new certifications make him the 6th highest-certified rapper of all time in the history of RIAA.
‘Run This Town’ and ‘Holy Grail’ are now 6x platinum-certified, ’99 Problems’ and ‘No Church In The Wild’ 3x certified, ‘Hard Knock Life’ 2x certified and ‘I Just Wanna Love U’ 1x certified.
On the list of the highest platinum-certified rappers of all time, Canadian rapper Drake leads with 294m, followed by Eminem (235m), Kanye West now Ye (222.5m), Future (134.5m), and Lil Wayne (131) before Jay Z (117.5m).
