South Korean K-pop star IU has become the first Asian female soloist to gross over $1 million and $2 million in a single concert in the history of the United States.
She has also in a historic turn of events joined Suga of the K-pop music group BTS as the only Korean soloist to gross over $2 million in a single concert in US history.
According to a BoxScores report by TOURING DATA on its X platform, the songstress earned her most-attended US concert of all-time on August 2, 2024, with 13,815 tickets sold at the Forum in Inglewood as part of her “IU HEREH Tour”.
She also earned her highest-grossing US concert of all-time at her August 2nd concert at Inglewood’s The Forum with $2.889 million as part of the “IU HEREH Tour.”
