Ghanaian Afrobeat and Afro-pop artist King Promise has wrapped up 2024 with a deluxe version of his ‘True To Self’ full album.

Serving fans with three additional new songs and a remix, the project arrived on Friday the 13th of December.

The deluxe comes months after the release of the original album on the 14th of June this year.

After treating fans with his new single ‘Keep It Sexy’, Promise hinted at the new LP on Thursday, Dec 12. He shared a trailer which contained the tracklist on his social media platforms and captioned it ”TRUE TO SELF – DELUXE out midnight ! This album is my best body work yet so it was hard for me to add to it initially but these new songs made the vision even clearer. We are on to the next level . This is my takeover”

The new songs that made it to the deluxe include, ‘Eyes Dried Over’ featuring Tom Walker, previously released single ‘Keep It Sexy’, ‘Set Me Free’ and a remix of ‘Paranoid’ featuring Ronisia.

In a post-release statement, the singer thanked all who helped in the making of the new project possible, adding that making the LP gave him a fresh direction which he is proud of.
