Maverick City And Kirk Franklin’s ‘Kingdom Tour’ To Light Up Ghana 

Award-winning gospel music collective and musician, Maverick City, and Kirk Franklin have announced their coming to Accra, Ghana, as part of their ‘Kingdom Tour’.

Ghanaians eagerly await spirit-filled performances from the contemporary gospel collective and Kirk Franklin as they bring together their diverse array of voices drawing inspiration from different genres; Gospel, R&B and indie rock.

Music fans are eagerly anticipating spirit-filled performances from the contemporary gospel collective and Kirk Franklin alongside Ghanaian gospel stars, Joe Mettle, ‘Defe Defe’ hitmaker Team Eternity and Luigi MacLean as they will be bringing together their diverse array of voices drawing inspiration from different genres; Gospel, R&B and indie rock.

The ‘Kingdom Tour’ has travelled widely nationally in the USA and internationally imparting people with the many ministrations, changing lives and propagating the good news. The announcement of the forthcoming concert has put fans and gospel music lovers in suspense following the type of music to be curated and the atmosphere created whenever they grace stages.

The event will be held on the 18th of August 2024 at the ICGC Christ Temple East (Teshie Rasta Road). Maverick City together with Kirk Franklin will have a show like no other in Accra, Ghana. What is expected of the attendees is a heart brought to worship in spirit and truth. 

The Culture Management Group-collaborated concert will serve attendees with praise and live worship which is aimed at connecting the gospel music community both locally and internationally. As announced by Faith Collective, the night promises one million fun experiences and a worth-remembering event.

“This concert promises to be a night of profound worship and spiritual encounter, as we come together to lift our voices in praise and seek a deeper connection with God.”

The ‘Kingdom’ tour is in honour of Maverick City and Kirk Franklin’s collaborative studio album ‘Kingdom’ which addresses and sheds light on the injustice of mass imprisonment, with 1,300 inmates participating and recorded live at the Everglades Correctional Institution, the Deluxe Edition houses 22 impactful songs.
