Viral Video Misidentifies Kenyan Rapper as Tekno
A viral video circulating on Nigerian social media has sparked widespread concern after showing a singer collapsing on stage during a performance. Rumours quickly spread that the singer in the video was Tekno, a popular Nigerian musician.
However, these concerns were quickly dispelled by Mr. Eazi, the owner of Tekno’s record label. In a tweet, Mr. Eazi clarified that the singer in the video was not Tekno. Reports indicate that the artist in the viral video was identified as a Kenyan rapper Prezzo.
Mr. Eazi noted that Tekno is currently in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, and not in South Africa as the video had suggested.
