The prestigious and star- studded MTV Europe Music Awards will take place for the first time in Manchester, U.K. this November, 2024 at the new Co-op Live arena, which is set to become the UK’s largest when it opens in it April.
The awards will celebrate its 30th anniversary and will be one of the glitziest nights in the global pop music calendar.

The Israel-Hamas conflict forced the last-minute cancellation of last year’s EMA awards, which were scheduled to take place in Paris “out of an abundance of caution.” France was placed on high alert after a number of terrorist attacks, including stabbings and bomb threats at airports, occurred after the battle.
The final EMAs were held in Dusseldorf, Germany in 2022 and were emceed by singer Rita Ora and director Taika Waititi. With four wins, Taylor Swift took home the most honors.
