Award-winning American rapper and Barbz boss Nicki Minaj is still in her pink Friday era as she is gearing up for the release of a deluxe edition of her ‘Pink Friday 2’ studio album.
The rapper announced the forthcoming deluxe through a post on her X platform on Tuesday the 20th of August 2024.
Hinting at the much-anticipated project, she disclosed that she will be performing 2-3 songs from the deluxe at her forthcoming ‘Gag City Reloaded’ tour.
She also promised to keep fans and music lovers updated on further updates on the release.

After thirteen years of the release of her ‘Pink Friday’ debut album, Nicki dropped its sequel in December 2023. Collaborators on the project included Future (“Nicki Hendrix”), J. Cole (“Let Me Calm Down”), Lil Uzi Vert (“Everybody”) and gospel star Tasha Cobbs Leonard (“Blessings”).
Fans and music lovers are eagerly awaiting the forthcoming deluxe edition since the rapper’s announcement on Tuesday, August 20th. They can’t wait for further updates on the release.
While gearing up for the second leg of the North American leg of the ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour, it is already the highest-grossing rap tour ever by a woman. It’s also in the top 10 highest-grossing rap tours of all time. According to sums reported to Billboard Boxscore, the Pink Friday 2 World Tour grossed $67 million and sold 439,000 tickets for the first North American leg.
Scheduled to start in Philadelphia in September, Young Money member Tyga, BIA and Caribbean Reggae and dancehall superstar Skillibeng will be coming with Nicki as openers of the tour. She announced the openers this month, heightening the anticipation of the tour.
