The record jointly-produced by SC4 and YNT Deezy, sees his impeccable songwriting skills come to play as he flares with pure emotions. He talks real life lessons, music industry shenanigans and betrayal from close pals in the fleeting song. “Soul” is a simple yet profound reflective guide to life on the street.
However, Nsrb Dray quickly sends a reminder that he is of the street, and was “Born Ready” with Lucky YFK. The impeccable switch from ragga to Twi delivery and back to ragga between the two is unmatched.
They keep the message intact, but the groove is intensified as their vibey rhythm alters the song’s aura into a sunny beach jam session. The Afro-Dancehall track, “Born Ready,” epitomizes a street hustler’s life– constant struggles of making it through the day alive.
Kush Rhymes joins Nsrb Dray and Lucky YFK on “Karma,” to form a power-trio to produce a trilingual delivery on the two minutes 27-second record.
Pain on hip-hop beats doesn’t come any better than this, the ultimate record is pure lyricism accompanied by a canorous hook. The message is clear, move right on the street because “Karma” is real, however, for the trio, they might deliver that “Karma” by themselves so don’t cross them.
