After successfully making his name a household name in the Afrobeats fraternity and the world’s music industry with hit singles, Nigerian musician Oxlade is ready for his latest full-length studio album release.
The Afrobeats singer hinted at the forthcoming album with a mesmerising shot trailer shared on his official social media platforms.
The trailer was narrated in a local dialect, testifying to Oxlade’s love and respect for his African roots and heritage. Traditional and African attires used in the short trailer symbolized his heritage and cultural heritage.
Dubbed “Oxlade From Africa”, the project is scheduled to arrive on the 20th of September 2024. He is yet to unveil its cover art and official tracklist.
The Nigerian star is expected to explore themes of cultural identity, heritage and traditional roots. The album will boost his popularity, catapulting him into the list of Afrobeats elites.
Since coming into the music industry with his ‘Ku Lo Sa’ hit song in June 2022, Oxlade has treated listeners with his captivating voice, blending it with his unique Afrobeats style and lyrical prowess. After the massive chart success of the record, a remix featuring American singer-songwriter Camilo Cabello was released in December 2022. As of September 2023, a live performing video of the song dropped on Colors YouTube channel had amassed over 74 million views.
