Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Oxlade, after coming into the limelight with his ‘Ku Lo Sa’ monster hit song, has finally unveiled his ‘Oxlade From Africa’ debut album.
Released in September 2024, the album already has surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify, and it’s the second most-streamed Nigerian project on the platform this year.
Seven (7) lead singles, including ‘Ku Lo Sa’, ‘Intoxicated’, ‘Ovami’ etc, had earlier been released before the official release in September.
Currently amassing huge streams and topping charts, ‘Oxlade From Africa’ features Ghanaian-decorated rapper Sarkodie, Wande Coal, Caribbean Reggae and dancehall superstar Popcaan, Fally Ipupa etc.
In a post-release statement on his X platform, the Nigerian star said “. This album is a piece of my heart, and I’m so grateful for your unwavering support throughout this journey. Welcome to a new dispensation”
