Ghanaian artist Pandem has released his latest project, “Son of Grace”, a five-track EP celebrating resilience and the power of grace in life’s journey.
Leading the collection is “Apicki,” a vibrant Hiplife anthem featuring Highlife star Fameye and rapper Amakyetherapper.
“Son of Grace” explores themes of perseverance and triumph, blending Afro-fusion, Afrobeats, and cultural influences to create a unique and timeless body of work.
One of the outstanding tracks on the EP is the opener, “Chosen” where Pandem flows on a Dancehall themed sound. Other tracks on the project include “Vanity”, “Plenty Money” and “27 Degrees”.
Pandem describes the EP as a reflection on overcoming life’s challenges, moving past obstacles, and emerging chosen to shine. Inspired by real-life experiences, the songs resonate deeply with audiences seeking motivation and hope.
The lead single, “Apicki” translates to “hitting the jackpot” and is a celebration of victories. With Fameye’s heartfelt vocals and Amakyetherapper’s incisive verses, the song is a rallying cry for hustlers to remain steadfast in their pursuit of success.
For people who don’t know much about Pandem, he is born Emmanuel Asah and is steadily building his reputation as a versatile artist. After completing college, he relocated to Abu Dhabi, where he rebranded as Pandem, expanding his creative scope.
He has collaborated with notable producers like LiquidBeatz and Kofi Strings and artists such as Lil Shaker and WAN-O, consistently pushing the boundaries of his craft.
Following his debut EP “ONLY GOD” in 2020, Pandem’s new release showcases his growth as an artist. With “Son of Grace” and its standout single “Apicki”, he continues to inspire listeners with music that uplifts and motivates.
