South Korean K-pop group BLACKPINK’s Rose has officially stepped out in PUMA, marking her first-ever move in her campaign with the global clothing brand.
Rose elegantly shows off the new Palermo range of low-top sneakers in classic “cobalt” and “black” colorways weeks after the fashion brand unveiled her as a brand ambassador.
A statement on the collaboration between the K-pop star and the clothing brand reads ” Fusing music and style, “Rosé’s ambassador role will bring her vision, voice, and unique insights to Puma’s global campaigns and storytelling.”
Centering around PUMA’s catalog of silhouettes, the partnership will oversee Rose introducing the brand’s classic kits to a new generation and wide range of audiences.
The k-pop star joins global musicians such as A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Nigerian-British rapper Skepta at the fashion powerhouse. Commenting on the partnership, she said in a statement;
“I am so excited to join the Puma family. I cannot wait for my fans to join my next chapter with Puma.”
Since debuting in 2016, the girl music group has been a force to reckon with, smashing hit records, topping charts and dominating playlists. The group which consists of Rosé, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo has historically filled arenas globally and not only became the first K-pop girls to perform at Coachella but also the first Asian acts to headline the festival.
More PUMA kits are set to be unveiled with Rose later this year. Fans await eagerly for the forthcoming kits.
