Ghanaian highlife and multi-genre artist Pure Akan has unveiled a visualizer for “Yede Gye Sen,” a standout track from his latest album, Odo Awaamu. Known for his vivid storytelling and fusion of traditional Ghanaian sounds, Akan collaborates with Joey Turkson on this track, creating a nostalgic yet refreshing blend of 80s disco synth and electric guitar.

“Yede Gye Sen” delves into themes of love and inclusiveness, brought to life with Akan’s energetic, evocative rap style. Grammy-winning guitarist Joshua Moszi, alongside producers Nii Mants3, Jaja Moto, and A-level Music, crafts a soundscape that draws from Ghanaian disco and hiplife, complete with warm vibraphones, lush guitar melodies, and lounge-inspired beats.
This release adds a visual layer to the song’s heartfelt message and classic vibe, making “Yede Gye Sen” not only a highlight of Odo Awaamu but a powerful showcase of Pure Akan’s artistry.
