The French Embassy in Ghana has officially announced that Sarkodie and King Promise together with top Ghanaian musicians will perform at the FanZone of the Paris Olympics 2024.
This exciting news was confirmed by Marine Hayem, the Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy, during a press briefing held by the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) on Monday, July 8.
The Ghanaian stars are set to represent the country’s thriving music scene at the international sporting event. Their performances will take place at the Fan Zone, offering a taste of Ghanaian culture to the diverse Olympic audience.
Speaking at the presser, Marine Hayem said, “Many African artists are billed to perform among whom Ghanaian stars Sarkodie, Darkovibes, King Promise and maybe more at the Africa Station.”
The inclusion of these musical performances adds a cultural dimension to Ghana’s Olympic presence, showcasing the nation’s talents both on and off the track fields.
