It appears American actor Owen Wilson is a staunch fan of rapper Sexxy Red.
Over the weekend, Wilson trended on various social media platforms over his reaction when Sexxy was performing at Rolling Loud Miami.
In fan captured footage shared on social media, the actor was seen in an awe with his jaw on the floor as he watched Sexyy Red perform her song “Hellcats SRTs” on the Rolling Loud stage in Miami.
Catching the wind of the video, the ST. Louis rapper responded with “Dats my baby Owen” along with some cat kissing emojis.
Hitting the stage as Travis Scott’s hype man for the performance of the rapper’s ‘Utopia’ hit record ‘FE!N’, Wilson shouted, “I’m feigning for more.”
His attendance at this year’s festival shouldn’t come as a surprise. It was recently reported that the Wedding Crashers actor will star opposite standup comedian Matt Rife in a movie centered around the rap festival.
As scheduled, Wilson will play a dad that sneaks his 13-year old son into Rolling Loud’s 10th-anniversary weekend in Miami as his co-worker (Rife) tags along for the ride as they try to navigate security, rappers and rowdy attendees in the true-life story-inspired ‘Rolling Loud’ film. Produced by Live Nation productions, Rolling Loud will be directed by Jeremy Garelick.
Though official release date of the forthcoming movie is not out yet, it is speculated that it will arrive somewhere next year.
Fans took some behind-the-scenes footage of Wilson and Scott filming what looks like a scene from the upcoming movie, where the actor can be heard referring to the rapper as Mr. Scott and thanking him for his time before saying he’s “got a little bit of an emergency.”
