With new updates about her forthcoming ‘SOS’ deluxe, American rapper SZA is keeping her fans on the edge

Treating and exciting fans worldwide, SZA’s recent posts on her Instagram stories offer a sneak peek at the official tracklist of the much-anticipated album. The singer had earlier promised during a stream with Kai Cenat that the LP will be released at the end of the year.

After a successful release, SZA will be busy in Spring 2025 as she is scheduled to embark on a Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar.

The singer is gradually proving that her reign in the music industry is far from over from the original success of SOS in 2022 to her collaborative work with Kendrick this year.

Though the official tracklist of the forthcoming album is unconfirmed, it is compiled of recent singles, snippets and song titles sourced from various streaming platforms. The exact release date is also not confirmed as she only stated during her stream with Cenat that it will arrive before this year ends.

The much anticipated deluxe is an expanded version of SZA’s 2022 sophomore album ‘SOS’. It is set to house multiple new tracks of outtakes and leaks from the ‘SOS’ era. She had earlier described it as the B-side to her sophomore album.

On the 14th of December 2022, within a week of the release of ‘SOS’, SZA confirmed live on StationHead name of the few songs that will be added to the deluxe. They include ”Guard Down”, ”PSA”, ”Boy From Detroit” featuring American singer Lizzo, ”Asparagus”, ”Joni”, etc.

Fans and music lovers are anticipating the release following its new teaser shared on social media. The short clip sees SZA out in the forest quickly answering nature’s call, while an unreleased track sampling The Isley Brothers’ “Voyage To Atlantis” plays in the background. She utilizes the teaser to confirm that Lana is the deluxe version of SOS and writes in the caption “Clock starts now . Happy anniversary,” celebrating two years of her beloved sophomore studio album.
