Ariana Grande has released a new music video for song ‘The Boy is Mine’, off her ‘Eternal Sunshine’. The video, which was directed by Christian Breslauer, has Grande making a love potion in her kitchen in an attempt to win the mayor of the city—played by Penn Badgley—during a TV press conference. After she’s done, she dresses as Catwoman breaks into his apartment, and begins to pursue him. In addition, Brandy and Monica play news reporters. Watch it below.

The R&B icons Brandy and Monica, who of course released their own hit single, “The Boy Is Mine,” back in 1998, also make two noteworthy cameos in the “The Boy Is Mine” video alongside Badgley (Grande has described her song as a type of reinvention of the iconic track). The two actors introduce the mayor’s press conference on the rat problem as news anchors in the video.
