Nigerian Afrobeats icon, Tiwa Savage has released the music video for her song ‘Commona’, which features top artists Olamide and Mystro Sugar. ‘Commona’, which is one of the soundtrack songs on Tiwa’s debut feature film ‘Water and Garri’ was released in May 2024.

The song showcases Tiwa Savage’s smooth vocals over a mid-tempo, fuji inspired production.

The ten-track album “Water & Garri” skillfully combines hip-hop, R&B, and Afropop. Artists such as Ayra Starr, Asa, Richard Bona, Zacardi Cortez, The Cavemen, Black Sherif, and Young Jonn have collaborated on it.

The “Commona” video, which was directed by Jyde Ajala, features performances by Mystro, Olamide, and Tiwa Savage in between scenes from the movie “Water & Garri.” The trio’s enthusiasm shines through the screen, bringing the song to life.
