Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter Wizkid is creating a huge buzz around the release of his much-anticipated ‘Morayo’ full-length studio album.
After breaking the record for Most First Day streams in Spotify’s history with ‘Piece Of My Heart’ featuring American singer Brent Faiyaz, Wizkid has teased a new single. ‘Piece Of My Heart’ holds the record for Most First Day streams after amassing over 1 million streams on the DSP on its first day of release.
Dubbed ‘Dance’, the forthcoming record will arrive on the 15th of September, a week before the official release of the full project.
‘Morayo’ is scheduled to be released on the 22nd of this month. The Brent Faiyaz-collaborated record and the announcement of the new song have set the tone for the release of the full project.
